Size grouping
Theabilitytogroupdocumentsbytheirsizehasbeenextended.Inadditiontogroupingdocuments,
youcannowalsogroupdocument setsandjob segmentsbythenumberofpages.Andinsteadofjust
usingthepagecount,itisalsonowpossibletousethesheetcountforthesizeofthedocuments,sets,
orsegments.Thismakessizegroupingusefulforjobsthatmightcontainbothsimplexandduplexcon-
tent.Andsizegroupingcannowbeusedincombinationwithcomminglingwhenmailpiecescanhave
multipledocuments.(SHARED-61192)
Thiswaspreviouslyreferredtoas“pagebreakgrouping”,andisfoundonthesameGroupingOptions
Wizardpage.
Thesettingsusedinthescreenshotabovegroupsdocumentsintodocumentsetsbytheircustomer
number.Sizegroupingthencreatesthreedifferentjobssegments:thefirstwithsetsofonly1sheet,the
secondwithsetsof2to5sheets,andathirdwithanythingof6sheetsorgreater.
InOutputCreation,youcouldcreateanoutputfileperjobsegment,anduse${seg-
ment.metadata.ItemSize}intheoutputfilemasktoautomaticallynamethesefilesappro-
priately.
Impositioning
WehavemadeanumberofimprovementstoImpositioning,bothbyimprovingusabilityandbyadding
newfeatures.Thesechangesledtoaredesignofthelayoutoftheimpositionwizardpage,withsome
optionsbeingmovedandothersrenamed.
