Connection settings for OL Connect Server
InordertosetupaOLConnectServerconnection:
1. AddoneoftheOLConnectnodes(notacotgnode)toaflow.
2. Double-clickthenodetoopenitsPropertieswindowandclicktheEdit Servericon(apencil).
3. EntertheURL,usernameandpasswordtousetoconnecttotheOLConnectServer.
4. ClickDone.
ThenexttimeyouaddanOLConnectnodetothisflow,theserverwillappearinthelistofserversin
thatnode'sPropertieswindow.
Note: OLConnectServersettingsarenotexportedwithaflowandmustbereconfiguredineach
flow.
OL Connect resources in Node-RED
OLConnectresourcesarefilescreatedwiththeDesignerorDataMapper.Inordertousetheminthe
OLConnectnodesinaflowinNode-REDtheyneedtobedeployedtotheOLConnectServerfirst.
DeployedresourcesareregisteredintheOLConnectdatabaseandsavedintheFileStore.OLCon-
nectnodescaneitherrefertothembynameorbyusingtheinternaldatabaseID(alsoreferredtoas
themanaged file ID).Thesimplestapproachistousetheresourcenameintherespectivefieldofthe
node.
TherearetwowaystodeployOLConnectresourcestotheFileStore:usingtheDesignerorfrom
withinaflowinNode-RED'seditor.
