Cause of Error Procedure for Correction
Transmission was not possible because the
Scanner File Utility is communicating with
another scanner.
During group transmission, the number of
the save folder registered in the Scanner
File Utility did not match.
During compression of the scanned image
data, the data size went over the maximum
limit.
The response received from the destination
computer under the Scan to PC function
was not an appropriate one. Unexpected
trouble has occurred in the destination
computer.
Try to perform the operation again after the
connection to the other scanner is completed.
Check the Scanner File Utility settings.
Perform any or all of the following procedures
in order to lower the amount of data and then
try the scanning and transmission operation
again.
• Lower the designated resolution of the image
data.
• Change the image quality mode setting to
“OCR”.
• Lower the number of documents(pages) that
are being scanned at one time.
• Check to make sure that the Scanner File
Utility in the destination computer is running
properly.
• Check to make sure that there is no software
that utilizes the network, besides Scanner
File Utility, running in the destination
computer.
• If the trouble is with the destination computer,
fix that problem.
