Adjustments Optimizer (Hand Held User Interface) OPT-3 The Optimizer is a hand held interface with a keyboard and an alphanumeric display. It is used as an adjustment and diagnostic tool to display various system values and to make adjustments. When the Optimizer is first plugged in, its display will be similar to this: Start Display LEFT TRACK RIGHT 45% F 52% F The Start Display shows the actual outputs to the machine’s tracks.

If the Optimizer is disconnected and re-connected, the system will return to the first display screen. If any adjustments were being made when the optimizer is unplugged (the display is flashing), the changes will be lost.
There are separate adjustments for the Forward and Reverse directions. Ramp up Adjustment This sets the amount of time it takes for the SuperFLEX outputs to increase or “Ramp Up” whenever the Joystick command is rapidly increased. Low Range Adjustment This sets the percentage of maximum output that is available when the optional Dual Range control is set to the Low Range position.
