• TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION ENGINE WILL NOT START Fuel line not primed Glow plug will not heat(lite) Engine flooded, too much fuel Fill fuel tank and pressurize tank by capping exhaust Check glow plug battery heater or replace plug. Check carb. needle setting. Do not over prime. Remove glow plug and poor out fuel. Check needle setting for break-in. Check linkage for correct radio neutral. Check for slight barrel gap, 1/6th Check fuel level and prime fuel line/carb.
OFNA POWER STARTER SYSTEM Setting up Read instruction manual carefully. Open and remove kit. Place car on car stand or block, this enables free spinning / turning of wheels. Charge receiver battery, you should trickle charge your batteries overnight. Radio Check Check batteries make sure they are fully charged (batteries are low if light is flashing). Running car on low batteries could cause a run-away car. Set trims(adjustments) on remote to neutral.
Starting Procedures Glow Plug Check Make sure that the glow plug heater wire (white wire) is fastened down properly. If wire is not fastened all the way, there will be no spark, the car will not start. Use one copper washer (shim) on glow plug, the second is a spare. Fuel Check Make sure there is fuel in the tank. Nitro content should be at 20%. Stay with one fuel (brand) as much as possible. If this is the first start up with this kit, fill gas tank half way this will prevent hydro locking.
