POWER ON/OFF
Press on the main unit or remote control to turn on
the unit. The power indicator turns blue. Press again
to return to standby mode. The power indicator
changes to red again.
BASIC OPERATIONS
1. Press , the DVD player turns on and TV screen will
display the start logo. If disc is already inserted, it
will begin to play.
2. Press OPEN/CLOSE to open disc tray and insert a
disc with label facing up; press OPEN/CLOSE again
to close disc tray. Playback will automatically start.
NOTE: Some discs may not start automatically. If disc
starts playback with a menu, use curser buttons on
remote control to select menu options and press
ENTER to start. To select a menu option directly press
digits.
BASIC PLAYBACK
PLAY/PAUSE
NOTE
To pause the playback temporarily,
press PLAY/PAUSE once (still
mode); sound will be muted.
To resume, press PLAY/PAUSE
again.

PREVIOUS AND NEXT
During playback, press PREV to
skip to the previous chapter/track
or NEXT to skip to the next
chapter/track.
FAST FORWARD AND FAST REVERSE
1. During playback, press F.FWD
to fast forward or F.REV
to rewind. Each time F.FWD
or F.REV is pressed, the
motion speed changes.
2. Press PLAY/PAUSE to resume
normal playback.
STOP PLAYBACK
1. To stop the playback temporar-
ily, press STOP once.
2. With some discs the player
can recall the location where
stopped, such as DVD. Press
PLAY/PAUSE to resume play-
back from the location where
playback had stopped or from
the beginning of the disc.
3. To stop the playback completely,
press STOP twice.
