Charging Times.
The estimated time to charge a battery is shown below. The size of the battery (Ah) and its depth of discharge (DOD) greatly aect its
charging time. The charge time is based on an average depth of discharge to a fully charged battery and is for reference purposes only
.Actual data may dier due to battery conditions. The time to charge a normally discharged battery is based on a 50% DOD. Temperatu
re will also impact charging times.
Charging Times
Understanding Charge Screen and LEDs.
When the Screen shows the battery capacity is about 0.5A, it means the battery is fully charged.
If the reading of the amperemeter declines too fast, it may be caused by the following factors,showing that the battery has to be
replaced or repaired;
-- The battery panel may be sulfated;
-- One or more battery packs in the battery are short-circuited.
In this case, it can be observedthat the electrolyte in the normal battery pack is boiling.We can try to recover the battery
capacity by several times of charging and discharging of thebattery on the automobile lights with a capacity of about 50Vm. It
had better to control andregulate the density of electrolyte (when the battery is in the charging state, the density ofelectrolyte in
winter is 1.29, and that in summer is 1.27).
If it is failed in the setting of the suggested charging current, the reason may be the polarplate is sulfated. In this case, it is
suggested to use a current with battery capacity of 0.03 specified in the ex-factory certificate to charge the battery.This model
promotes the absorption of sulphate, but obviously increases the charging time.
The redError" indicator light turning on means the following errors: Short circuit, polaritydamaged, overheating. If one of the
above errors happens, the charger will stop charging, and'after the fault is eliminated; it will automatically continue charging.
