7 Place the second ink cartridge on top of the ink cartridge already
installed. Gently push down the centre of the ink cartridges.
Caution:
1 Place the side marked “B” face up. If the ink cartridge is
installed upside down, the printer will not know it has been
installed. Only the Econo Black and Finish Cartridges are
reversible.
2 You must leave at least one cartridge holder empty for the
printer to operate properly. Do not install more than 7 ink
cartridges.
Replacing or changing Ink Cartridges
When you want to change ink cartridges or replace a cartridge whose
ribbon has been used up, remove the cartridges by the following steps.
Notes
1 When an ink cartridge has been used up, black and silver stripes
will be visible on the ribbon.
