S IMPLE SCAN MODE
For Windows
1. Place your document with text face up in the ADF or face down on the document glass.
2. Start ActKey on your computer.
3. Click the scan button you want.
The scan job starts.
Scan Button Name:
For Mac OS X (MC332, MC342, MC352, MC362, MC562, ES3452 MFP, ES5462 MFP)
If using Image Capture scanner drivers:
1.
Place your document with text face up in the ADF or face down on the document glass.
2. Start Image Capture on your computer.
3. Select the device.
4. Click a scan button.
Scanning starts.
5. Select Quit Image Capture from Image Capture.
If using TWAIN scanner drivers:
1.
Place your document with text face up in the ADF or face down on the document glass.
2. Start Adobe Photoshop CS3 on your computer.
3. Select Import from File to select OKI MC5(3)x2_ES5(3)4x2 USB or OKI
MC5(3)x2_ES5(3)4x2 Network.
> If you select OKI MC5(3)x2_ES5(3)4x2 USB, proceed to the step 10.
> If you select OKI MC5(3)x2_ES5(3)4x2 Network and the network scan is the
second or more scanning, proceed to the step 10.
4. For the first network scan, the dialog box indicating that the tool of connection
destination selection is started is displayed, and then click OK.
5. Select a connection destination in the Scan Settings dialog box, and register the
host information if necessary. Then, click OK.
6. Select Import from File of Adobe Photoshop CS3 to select OKI
MC5(3)x2_ES5(3)4x2 Network.
The window appears.
7. Click a scan button.
Scanning starts.
NOTE
If you failed to start scan, please check whether the panel is in operation.
Application1, Application2, Folder, PC-Fax
MEMO
If you select Application1 or Application2, the specified application starts and
the scanned document is displayed on the application.
If you select Folder, the scanned document is saved in the specified folder.
If you select PC-FAX, the application for fax transmission starts and the
scanned document is sent to the application. Send a fax with the fax
transmission software on your computer.
