Open

the

printer

access cover.

3.

Centre

the

printhead.

Note: The

printhead

can

get

very hot

during

extended

periods

of

printing-be

sure

to let it cool off before you touch

it.

4.

Place the ribbon into the

printer

so

that

the

pins

on

the ribbon

cartridge fit into

the

notches in the side plates

of

the

printer.

Push

down

so

that

the

cartridge

snaps

into position.

Centre the

printhead

5. Thread the ribbon

around

the posts

on

the

printhead,

making

sure

that

you

follow the

proper

path

(refer to the following

illustration).

Turn

the

take-up

knob

clockwise to take

up

any

ribbon slack.
