DSR
Signal: Sets
the
Data Set Ready (DSR) signal.
DTR
Signal: Selects Data Terminal Ready (DTR) signal status.
Busy Time: Sets
busy
signal timing.
Cleaning
Every six
months
(or after 300
hours
of
operation), take a clean,
dry
soft cloth
and
dust
the
area
around
the carriage shaft
and
platen
.
Be
sure
to remove
any
loose particles of
paper.
Do
not
use solvents
or
strong
detergents
on
the cabinet.
Be
sure
to
turn
the
printer
OFF
before cleaning.
Make
sur
e the photosensor,
which
is located
on
the
paper
chute
behind the platen, is regularly cleaned, especially
when
signs
of
pap
er
dust
accumulate. Cleaning
can
be
done
using
a cotton
bud
or
any
other suitable non-abrasive cleaning implement.
Auto Fan Stop
When
the
printer
has
been
in
the idle
mode
for a
short
time, the fan
inside
the
printer
will stop.
The
printer
remains
in
the select
mode
and
is
ready
to receive data. As
soon
as
the
printer
starts to
print
the fan will
resume
operation.
