Graphics
The
bit
image graphics feature lets
your
printer
draw
almost
any
kind of illustration
by
printing a
dot
at
any
location
on
the page. In
the
IBM
modes,
your
printer
works
properly
with
anv
graphics
software package designed for the
IBM
Personal Computer.
You can
use
a software package (or BASIC
commands
such as
CIRCLE, LINE,
and
DRAW) to create
an
image on the
display
screen (your software
or
BASIC
manual
tells
you
how), then
dump
it
on to the
page
with the help of the PrtSc key
on
your computer.
This feature of the
IBM
Personal
Computer
lets you
print
a
reproduction
of
any
image
on
your
display
screen.
When
your
screen image is complete, simply press the SHIFT key
and the PrtSc key
at
the same time:
whatever
is on the screen is
printed
on
the page.
You can also write a
program
that prints
an
image directly,
without
transferring it from the
display
screen. This section explains
how
to
do
this using BASIC statements.
