3. Changing Printer Settings
Wireless(Ap Mode) Setting

Wireless(AP Mode)
Setting
Wireless(AP Mode) Enable
Disable
Enables/Disables the wireless LAN (AP
mode).
Automatic Setup
(PushButton)
When the <ENTER> button is pressed and
the Yes/No conrmation screen is displayed,
if Yes is selected, automatic connection can
be started with a push-button.
Manual Setup Displays the SSID and the password.
Connection
Sstting
SSID Input the SSID.
Password Input the password.
IPV4
Address
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Input the IP address.
Execute Sets the SSID and the password.
AP Mode User Setting Disclose user
Don’t disclose user
Sets whether or not to disclose the AP
mode information to users other than the
administrator.
Boot Menu
This menu should only be changed by the System Administrators. In order to gain access to this menu,
follow the instructions in “Boot Menu” P.31.
This menu is in ENGLISH only.

Execute Species whether to initialize the network menu.
Wireless Module

Wireless Module Enable
Disable
Enables the wireless LAN board.
With [Enable], this setting will still remain enabled even after
the wireless LAN board is removed.
Since the factory default is [Disable] even for devices provided
with wireless LAN as standard, please change this setting to
[Enable] to use wireless LAN.
SD Card Setup

Enable SD Card No
Yes
Even if a machine is inoperable at installation because of a
faulty SD Card, the machine can be made operable by setting
this parameter to [No] (ignores the existence of the SD Card).
When No is set, access to the SD Card results in FAIL because
the SD Card is regarded as not attached.
After setting change and exit from the menu, the printer will
restart.
