5. Introduction to the chapter
In this chapter are presented the interfaces found on the programmed that can be found on the
board. Jumpers functions are described.
5.1 UEXT connector
The UEXT is used to connect additional extension modules to the OLIMEXINO-328. Most Olimex
extensions (named MOD-XXXX) can be plugged directly to this connector. If you wish to add
additional extras to your board this is the right interface. Of course, using jumper wires you might
connect any other board that uses I2C, SPI or UART interface without the need of soldering.

5.2 PWR_J connector
The power jack used is the typical 2.5mm one used by Olimex in most of our products. You should
provide between 6 and 16 volts @ 1.5A maximum to the board.
