MAINTENANCE
PROBLEM CHECK IF:
There are smudged characters and/or figures
on the document received or smudges all over
the page.
The document received or copied has incom-
plete characters or white lines on the characters
and/or figures or all over the page.
• the correct type of printing paper is being used;
• the printing nib is clean (see paragraph B1 of the
“Checking the print head nozzles” section).
• the electrical contacts of the print cartridge are clean;
• the print cartridge is damaged (see paragraphs A2 and
B2 of the “Checking the print head nozzles” section).
