Protect 9878 Wireless Alarm System
Please refer to the Accessories for Alarm Systems in the Protect
Series operating manual and detailed Alarm System Operating Manu-
al for detailed information on assembly, installation and operation. Both
documents are enclosed with the base unit.
Connecting the Base Unit
In order to ensure unrestricted use of the base unit, you need a SIM card
from a mobile phone provider. A SIM card is not included in the equip-
ment supplied.
1 Insert a SIM card in the base unit.
2 Insert three batteries (AAA) in the battery compartment paying
attention to correct polarity.
3 Connect the base unit to the power socket.

cases, contact your sales outlet, with your purchase receipt to hand, or
the OLYMPIA service centre.
Keep the packaging box for the alarm system in a safe place for possible
