Answering machine
The answering machine is operated via the base station.
The voice communication from the answering machine is German.
Answering machine on/off
1. Press the h button. The answering machine is switched on.
2. Press the h button again. The answering machine is switched off.
Answering mode
You can select between “Answer with message recording” (OGM 1) and
“Answer only” (OGM 2) modes.
Note: The answering machine is set-up at the factory with two pre-recorded
outgoing messages. One of these outgoing messages is played to callers if
you do not record your own outgoing messages.
Answer with message
recording (OGM 1)
The outgoing message is played to callers
who can then leave a message (max. dura-
tion approx. two minutes). The answering
machine can record and store up to 55 in-
coming messages with a total recording time
of up to 11 minutes.
Answer only
(OGM 2)
The outgoing message is played but callers
cannot leave a message and the connection
is terminated. This mode is automatically ac-
tivated when the message memory is full.
1. Press the h button for 2 seconds. This switches between OGM 1 and
OGM 2.
Recording/Playing outgoing message
1. Press the i button for 2 seconds.
2. After the acoustic signal: Speak your message clearly towards the
answering machine to record it.
3. Press the h button to end recording.
4. Press the i button to playback the outgoing message recorded.
Note: You can repeat the recording procedure as often as required.
Recording a new message replaces the old message. This means, the old
outgoing message need not be deleted.
Deleting an outgoing message
Proceed as follows to delete your own outgoing message and restore the
pre-recorded outgoing message.
1. Press the i button to playback the outgoing message.
2. Press and hold the g button during playback to delete the outgoing
message.
Note: The pre-recorded outgoing messages cannot be deleted.
