6. The handset will now search for a base station that is ready

for registration.

Once the base station has been localised, the LCD will

display [HS 123456], in which HS stands for handset.

If one or more handsets are already registered at the base

station, e.g. handset 1 and handset 3, the LCD will display

[HS:_2_456].

7. Operate the desired dial button to save the handset number.

The handset will switch to standby mode.

7.2 Signing off handsets from the base station

If both handset and base station are in standby mode, you can

sign off the handset from the base station:

1. Operate the -key to access the menu mode during

standby.

2. Operate the / -keys to select [SYSTEM].

3. Confirm by operating the -key and select [DE-REGISTER] with

the / -keys.

4. You confirm your selection by pressing the -key and the

LCD displays [BS PIN ----]
