While playing recordings
A range of functions are available directly on the remote control while
recordings are being played.
S Selecting a track number directly
Press the number of the required track. To enter numbers with
more than one digit, press the [/−−] button once or twice
beforehand.
S Bass
To play recordings with the bass amplified, press the [XBASS]
button. “Bn” appears in the display. Press the button again to
switch the function off.
S Equalizer
The tone can be set to Normal, Classic “Cls”, Jazz “Jaz”, Pop
“Pop” and Rock “Roc” as required. Press the [PEQ] button
repeatedly until the tone required is selected.
S A-B
A passage of a recording can be marked and then be played
back in a continuous loop.
Press the [A-B] button at the beginning of the required passage.
Press the [A-B] button again at the end of the required passage.
The passage is repeated continuously until you press the [A-B]
button once again.
S Repeat
The recording currently being played, or one which has been
selected, can be played repeatedly. Press the [REPEAT] button
to repeat the recording currently being played. Press the
[REPEAT] button again to repeat all the recordings selected in a
continuous loop. Press the [REPEAT] button once again to stop
the repeat function.
S Random
You can play all the tracks selected in a random sequence.
Press the [RANDOM] “Ran” button. Press the [RANDOM]
button once again to stop the random function.
Some functions can only be accessed via the “Setup” menu. Press the
[Setup] button on the unit or the [SETUP] button on the remote control and
navigate to the menu options required. An example of a menu option is
described below
S Balance
Press the and buttons to select the required volume
balance between the right and left loudspeakers and confirm the
setting by pressing the [OK] button.
