FEATURES / BENEFITS
Olympic Wood Protector Semi-Transparent Stain provides water-
proofing protection with subtle color that allows the natural grain and
texture to show, enhancing the natural beauty of wood. Wood
Protector is recommended for use on any properly prepared exterior
wood, including decks, fences, siding, railings, outdoor furniture, and
other wood surfaces. Protects decks up to 3 years and fences and
siding up to 5 years.

COVERAGE: Approximately 250 to 350 sq. ft. (23.2 to 32.5 sq. meters)
per gallon (3.78 Liters) depending on application, wood texture and
porosity. Coverage figures do not include loss due to surface irregulari-
ties and porosity or material loss due to application method or mixing.
DRYING TIME: Normally dries in 24 hours when applied in optimal
temperatures of 50°F (10°C) to 85°F (29°C).
Application in high humidity or in temperatures below 50°F (10°C) may
prolong drying and recoating times. Allow 24 to 48 hours of drying time
before light foot traffic or replacing furniture.
Newly stained surfaces should be allowed to cure 30 days before
washing.
Drying times listed may vary depending on temperature, humidity, film
build, color, and air movement.
CLEANUP: Clean brushes and tools with warm, soapy water.
DANGER – RAGS, STEEL WOOL, OR WASTE SOAKED WITH WOOD
PROTECTOR SEMI-TRANSPARENT STAIN MAY SPONTANEOUSLY
CATCH FIRE IF IMPROPERLY DISCARDED. IMMEDIATELY AFTER
EACH USE, PLACE RAGS, STEEL WOOL, OR WASTE IN A SEALED,
WATER-FILLED, METAL CONTAINER.
DISPOSAL: Contact your local environmental regulatory agency for
guidance on disposal of unused product. Do not pour down a drain or
storm sewer.

LIMITATIONS OF USE
Apply when no precipitation is expected for 24 hours, and when air and
surface temperatures are 35°F to 90°F (2°C to 32°C) and will remain
above 35°F (2°C) for the next 24 hours. Avoid staining in direct sunlight
or on hot surfaces. DO NOT THIN. USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILA-
TION. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Read all label and
Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information prior to use. SDS are available

PROTECT FROM FREEZING.
While this product provides a mildew resistant coating, growth may still
occur if the substrate is not properly prepared prior to painting and/or if
the substrate is consistently exposed to conditions conducive to mold,
mildew, and algae. Examples of these conditions include, but are not
limited to, under eaves, behind shrubbery and trees, and in areas that
are consistently damp with little to no direct sunlight.
