Adjust the diopter so that the AF target mark

viewfinder.

Vertical lines appear in
the viewfinder or on the
monitor screen during
shooting.
Aiming the camera at a bright subject in
sunlight may cause vertical lines to appear on
the screen. This is not a malfunction.

The date recorded with the image data is wrong.
The date/time is not set. Set the date/time. The clock adjustment is not
factory-preset.

The camera has been left
with the battery removed.
If the camera is left for one day with the
battery removed, the date/time setting is
canceled. Set the date/time again.

The settings are returned to the factory default settings when the camera is
turned off.
