Disconnecting the camera from your computer

4 Make sure that the lamp on the right
of the viewfinder or the self-timer
lamp (which on some models light
while the camera is connected to
the computer) or the card access
lamp is not blinking.
Depending on the camera model, the
green lamp may light or lamps that
were lit while the camera was connected to the computer may go off. If
the lamp is not flashing, then the cable can be removed.
5 Remove the USB cable from the
camera.
6 Remove the USB cable from your computer.
Windows Me/2000/XP
1 Make sure that the lamp on the right
of the viewfinder or the self-timer
lamp (which on some models light
while the camera is connected to
the computer) or the card access
lamp is not blinking.
The lamps and their location vary
depending on the model. Refer to your
camera’s reference manual.
