1 Select M mode.

2 Use the arrow pad to set the
aperture value and shutter speed.
b : The aperture value increases.
d : The aperture value decreases.
a : Sets a faster shutter speed.
c : Sets a slower shutter speed.
• When the shutter button is halfway
pressed, the difference (ranging from -3.0
to +3.0 EV) between the exposure
determined by the currently selected
aperture and shutter speed compared to
the exposure level considered optimal by
the camera is displayed.
• If the exposure differential appears in red,
it indicates that the exposure differential is
less than -3.0 EV or more than +3.0 EV.
• When you press x, the screen on
the right appears with the bar indicating
current exposure differential.
Aperture value : f2.8 to f8.0 (W)
f3.7 to f8.0 (T)
Shutter speed : 15" to 1/1000
• To avoid camera movement, you are recommended to use a tripod
when taking pictures requiring a slow shutter speed.
