Manual focus
If auto focus is unable to focus on a subject, use manual focus.
1 Hold down e for more than 1
second.
2 When the focus distance selection
screen appears on the monitor,
press b to select MF.
3 Press ac to set the focus
distance.
• During operation, the area you are
focusing on is enlarged. This lets you
check whether the focus is in the right
position.
• The distance indicator on the left of the
monitor is for reference only.
• When the indicator is moved to less than 2 m (6.6 ft.), the display
automatically switches to the 7 cm (2.8") to 2 m (6.6 ft.) display.
