Playback
Protecting pictures
You are recommended to protect important pictures to avoid accidentally
erasing them. Protected pictures cannot be erased by the single-frame/all-
frame erase function.
1 Press the power switch to turn the
camera on, and press .
• Playback mode is set.
• The green lamp on the camera lights.
2 Select [ ] from the menu, and
press .

3 Press to select the picture
to be protected.
4 Press to select [ON], and
press .
• To cancel protection, select [OFF].
5 Press to select [EXIT], and
press .
• Press to exit the menu.
• Protected pictures cannot be erased by the single-frame/all-frame erase
functions, but they are all erased when you format the internal memory
or the card.
