• A search is performed for Bluetooth
devices that can be connected.
• It may take a while for the device to be
connected to appear.

button to select
the device to be connected.

button.
• [Connecting!] appears in the display,
and the connecting process starts.
[Connection Done] appears when the
process has finished.
• The Bluetooth indicator on the screen
lights and you become able to use the
connected device.

the menu screen.
4 About pairing
Registering a device pair when connecting
with a Bluetooth device is called pairing.
Once pairing is complete, the necessary
information is stored on both devices and
you can subsequently connect by selecting
the device from the list without having to
perform pairing again.
Paring will need to be performed again in
the following cases.
• When the information for pairing with
the voice recorder has been deleted on
the Bluetooth compatible device to be
connected.
• When [Reset Settings] item of the voice
recorder was executed to restore the
factory default settings (☞ P. 70).
• When the paring information was deleted
by a means other than the above.
