How to Install a Flagpole Bracket
1. Position the bracket against the house or other sturdy vertical or horizontal surface. Ensure
that the size flagpole you will be mounting will not fly the flag near trees, bushes, or any other
materials that could prematurely wear the flag. Mark the screw holes with a pencil. Then
pre-drill the holes using a drill bit suited to your home’s exterior surface. For brick, use a
masonry bit and drill holes into the brick, not the mortar.
2. Attach the bracket with screws provided after placing a dab of caulk in each hole to keep
water out. If needed, replace the screws if they are too short for anchoring to your surface. If
your house is brick, insert the plastic anchors (provided) before screwing the bracket into
place.
3. Install the ¾” dia. flagpole by sliding firmly into bracket.
