6.1 Reprocessing

6 Prepare another lint-free cloth moistened with
disinfectant solution (medical-grade 70% ethyl
alcohol, 70% isopropyl alcohol or not greater
0.65%(6500ppm) sodium hypochlorite).

7 Disinfect the surfaces that previously contained patient debris (refer to Step 5) by
wiping with the moistened lint-free cloth.
8 Ensure that the surfaces are completely wet for the contact time instructed by the
disinfectant solution manufacture.
9 If any surface of this instrument remains wet, wipe it with a dry lint-free cloth and let it
dry thoroughly.
