6.2 Storage

CAUTION
• Store the tablet and accessories only under the conditions described in
“ Environment” on page 84. Otherwise improper performance, compromised
safety, and/or tablet and accessories damage may result.
• Do not store the tablet and accessories in the following places. Doing so may
cause the tablet and accessories to malfunction.
 Places exposed to direct sunlight
 Places exposed to strong ultraviolet light
 Places where temperature may increase excessively
 Places exposed to X rays, radioactive rays or strong electromagnetic waves
NOTE
If you are not using the tablet for a while, be sure it has full charge (charging until
CHARGE LED turns off is required). Overdischarge of the battery pack affects
tablet performance.
Store this instrument in a proper storage cabinet following the policies at your institution, applicable
national laws & standards, and professional society guidelines & recommended practices.
6.2 Storage
1 Fully charge the battery pack following Section 5.4, “Charging” (charging until
CHARGE LED turns off is required).
2 Shut down the tablet following Section 5.5, “Power off”.
3 Remove all the cables and devices connected to the cradle and the tablet such as AC
adapter and power cord.
4 Undock the tablet from the cradle.
5 Remove the cradle from the system control arm.
6 Put the tablet and accessories in the package box.
7 Store the tablet and accessories in a clean, dry place where the tablet can be placed
horizontally and where there is no risk of scratching the surface of the tablet.
