Reducing the blur caused by the camera shake when shooting

Submenu 2 Application
Off
The image stabilizer is deactivated. This is recommended for
shooting when the camera is fixed in place on a tripod or other
stable surface.
On The image stabilizer is activated.
• There may be a noise coming from inside the camera when reducing camera
shake.
• Images may not be stabilized if camera shake is too severe.
• When the shutter speed is extremely slow, such as when taking pictures at
night, [Image Stabilizer] may not be as effective.

Remote Flash
Off The external flash is not available.
RC
The dedicated underwater strobe or the Olympus
wireless RC flash is used to take pictures.
(Channel: CH1, Group: A)
Slave
The commercially-available slave flash that is
synchronized with the camera flash is used for
taking pictures. The flash intensity setting can be
adjusted.
Conversion
Lens
Off
Select when taking pictures without a conversion
lens.

Select depending on designated optional
conversion lenses.
