Adjusting the brightness of the monitor [Monitor]
Submenu 2 Application
Bright The display in the monitor is brighter than normal.
Normal Normal brightness.
Choosing how long the monitor remains on [Monitor Off]

Hold The monitor does not turn off automatically.

Select the delay between the start of shooting and the
monitor turning off automatically.
Choosing how long the camera remains on [Autopw Off]

Hold The camera does not turn off automatically.

If no operations are performed, the camera will turn
off automatically after the selected time unless movie
recording, continuous shooting, time-lapse movie recording,
or charging is in progress or the camera is connected via a
USB or to a smartphone.
To turn the camera back on, rotate the power switch to OFF
and then back to ON.
This option does take effect when the power switch is in the
LOG position.
If the power switch is in the ON position and [LOG Setting]
is [On], the camera will continue to acquire and log its
position to the temporary buffer after it has turned off.
Auto illumination for movies [Video Light]
Submenu 2 Application
Off The headlamp does not light automatically.
On
When movie recording starts, the headlamp will automatically turn
on at a level suited to movie recording, and remain on until shooting
ends. Pressing and holding the INFO button during recording will
cause the brightness of the lamp to change for 60 seconds.
