NOTE:Ifusingmountingbracket,besuretoinsertttingsthrough

bracketbeforethreadingintoltercap.

Measurelengthacrossassembledttingsandsubtract3inches.Mark3.

sectionofpipetoberemoved.

NOTE: Approximately5½incheswillberemoved.Usingapipecutter

orhacksaw,cutpipeandremovemarkedsection.Fileorsandsharp

edgesonremainingpipe.

Marktheendsofthecutpipe14. ½ inches from the end.

Alignlterassemblywithendsofpipe,makingcertainthe“FLOW”5.

arrowispositionedinthedirectionofyourincomingwater.Itwillbe

necessarytospreadendsofpipeaparttoinstalllterassembly.Insert

oneendofpipeintothequick-connecttting.Firmlypushthepipein

uptothe1½-inchmarkonthepipe.Insertsecondendofpipeinto

oppositesideuptomarkonpipe.

(A) 6. Turnonwatersupply.(B)Slowlyturnhandlecounterclockwise

1/2turnonhousingtoallowltertollwithwater,(C) thendepress

redpressure-reliefbuttonontopofcaptoreleasetrappedair.

(D) Opennearestfaucetandushcartridgefor5minutes.

Closefaucetandcheckforleaks.7.

appliancesorphones,becertaintoinstallajumperwire.Contact
