Comfort Cuff Instruction Manual for OMRON’s Comfort Cuff Thank you for purchasing the OMRON Comfort Cuff. Arm circumference for this cuff is 22 to 42 centimeters. OMRON’s Comfort cuff can be connected to various OMRON Blood Pressure Monitors. Please refer to the original instruction manual of your Blood Pressure Monitor. Packaging Contents A C D A. PUL /min Air plug Air plug The cuff must be fully deflated when it is inserted into the air jack. 2. Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and place your arm on a table so that the cuff will be at the same level as your heart. 3. Hold the grip on the cuff securely with your hand. 5. Turn the palm of your hand upward. Blue strip Bottom edge 1 to 2cm Air tube Apply the cuff to your upper arm so that the blue strip is centred on the middle of your inner arm and points down the inside of the arm. The air tube should run down the inside of your forearm and be in line with your middle finger. The bottom of the cuff should be approximately 1 to 2 cm above the elbow. 6. When the cuff is positioned correctly, close the fabric fastener FIRMLY.
Taking measurements on the right arm Please note the following points when applying the cuff to your right arm. Apply the cuff so that the air tube is at the side of your elbow. Notes: • Be careful not to rest your arm on the air tube, or otherwise restrict the flow of air to the cuff. • Apply the arm cuff so that no part of the cuff is positioned over the elbow joint. The cuff should be 1 to 2 cm above the elbow. • If used 2 times per day, the cuff will last for 3 years.
