Troubleshooting
0 When listening to an AM station, noise may be heard
when you operate the remote control.
0 When the radio wave reception is weak, we
recommend that you install a commercially-available
indoor or outdoor antenna. Contact your dealer for
information on the installation of an outdoor antenna.
0 If registered stations were lost due to power outage or
other unexpected event, register them again.
RDS doesn’t work.
0 The FM station you are tuned to doesn’t support RDS.
0 Install an outdoor FM antenna.
0 Change the position or direction of your outdoor FM
antenna.
0 Move the FM antenna as far away as possible from
fluorescent lights.
DLNA
Cannot connect to the network.
0 Check the settings of the network’s firewall.
0 Confirm that a DLNA server on the same network can
connect to the network.
0 Confirm that the password to connect to the DLNA
server is correct.
0 Confirm that the DLNA server is not shut down or in
sleep mode.
0 There might be a problem with the network
authentication. Press the NET button to select “DLNA”
again.
Cannot find a track.
0 Add the track to the media library of Windows Media
Player.
0 Select this unit from the Windows device list.
0 If the PC is using antivirus or security software, the unit
might not be able to connect to it.
Home Media
Cannot find a folder/file.
0 Make folder/file sharing settings.
0 Add the file to the shared folder.
0 Confirm that the password for the user account is
correct.
0 Check the file format.
0 If the PC is using antivirus or security software, the unit
might not be able to connect to it.
Onkyo is not responsible for damages (such as CD rental
fees) due to unsuccessful recordings caused by the unit’s
malfunction. Before you record important data, make sure
that the material will be recorded correctly.
The unit contains a microcomputer for signal processing
and control functions. In very rare situations, severe
interference, noise from an external source, or static
electricity may cause it to lockup. In the unlikely event
that this should happen, unplug the power cord, wait at
least 5 seconds, and then plug it again.
