Connecting the Speakers

For 7.1-channel surround sound, in addition to the 5.1 speakers shown in the hookup diagram on
page 19, you’ll need a pair of surround back speakers and a power amp to drive them. Using an
RCA audio cable, connect the HTX-22HD’s SURROUND BACK PRE OUT jacks to the audio
input on the power amp, as shown below.
Note:
• If you’re using only one surround back speaker, connect it to the SURROUND BACK PRE
OUT L jack.
