• Collect the cables you want to connect to the unit Se below).Pull
the cables through the screw cap.
• Connect the cables:
a. Power. Terminal A. 12VDC. Either the power adapter or an 12V
accumulator or both. Plus (white cord) is connected to con-
nector “+12-24VDC”. Minus (black cord) is connected to the
connector ”GND . Important. Do not connect to power at this
stage. It can damage the equipment.
b. Relay. Terminal B. If you want “Normally Open Relay” (use
connector 2 and 3. If you want “Normally Closed Relay” (use
connector 1 and 3. Maximum load is 230V/10A .
NB. If you shall connect main power, contact a professional
electrician.
c. Alarm. Terminal A. Alarm A is connected to connector “3.8V”
and “A” and alarm B is connected to connector ““3.8V” ” and “B”.
See g 2 and 3.
d. External temperature sensor. Terminal A. The sensor is con-
nected to connector “Temp” and “GND”.
e. Adapter for GPS-receiver (page 23). Contact D. Connect the
connector.
• Whenalldesiredcableshavebeenconnected,turnthescrewcap
clockwise in order to create a tight seal. You can use plastic tape
around the bundle of cables to make it thicker and that way create
a tighter seal.
• Push the ”hood” back to its original position and replace the screws
and also the screw on top of the hood.
• Connect the power cable to the accumulator and/or the power
adapter to the mains.
• The green lamp starts to ash for about 20 seconds. This indicates
that the unit is searching and when the light is steady the unit is
connected to an GSM.
Set the PASSWORD
• Insert the SIM-card on the side of Ontech GSM 9025. Push it
until there is a click. See g. 1 how to orient the SIM-card.
• Insert the unit to a power socket and make sure the text on
the front is correct orientated. The green lamp starts to blink.
