Getting Started You’re just a few quick steps from making and receiving calls on your new Ooma HD3 Handset. This handset is the perfect companion to the Ooma Telo™—you’ll be able to access all Ooma features and even unlock new functionality! Before you begin, please make sure that your Ooma Telo is installed and operating properly, as your new handset cannot be set up without a functioning Telo.
STEP 2 Charge the Handset Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet and then connect the AC adapter cable to the charging cradle. Put the handset on the cradle. When the handset is on its cradle, it will show a lightning bolt in the battery icon when it is charging. We recommend that you leave the handset on the cradle for 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step. The handset requires 10 hours to fully charge.

Main Menu Options The following options are available from the main menu: Accessing other options To see a list of all available functions on a screen, press the Options soft key. Voicemail — Listen to and manage your voicemail To exit a menu Press the MENU key to go back one menu level. Press to exit all menus.
Basic Operation Placing and Receiving Calls Picture Caller-ID There are two ways to place a call. You can dial the number first like a cell phone, and then press . This gives you the added convenience of automatically searching your phonebook as you dial. Alternately, you can place a call in a traditional manner by pressing first before you dial. When an incoming call comes in, you’ll see the associated phone number on the display.
Muting the Microphone International Calls While you are on a call, you can turn the microphone off by pressing the Mute soft key. Press the Unmute soft key to turn the microphone on again. To place an international call, dial 0 1 1 followed by the country code and phone number. Depending on your account settings, you may hear your prepaid balance announced before the call is connected. Volume Adjustment To adjust the ringer volume, press up/down on the navigation pad while you’re on the home screen.
From the Home screen, select Phonebook from the main menu, or long-press on the speaker key, to bring up a list of your contacts. Use the navigation pad to scroll and then press Select to view a list of phone numbers for a contact. Choose one and then press to place the call. Voicemail Playback To access your voicemail account, press the Voicemail soft key from the home screen and follow the audio prompts.
Ooma Premier Features Now pick up the handset you will use as the speaker. Select Intercom from the main menu. Choose the handset you wish to monitor and then press the Monitor softkey. Favorites Set up a list of your favorite callers for easy access. Add a phone number from your call logs, redial list, or phonebook by highlighting the number and then pressing the Options softkey and selecting Add to favorites. Select which speed dial slot you want the number to be assigned to.
Enhanced Voicemail Enhanced Call Waiting Send to Voicemail If someone is already on the line and you receive a second incoming call, any Ooma handsets not in use will ring. Press to answer the call. When an incoming call comes in, press the Options softkey and then select Send to VM to send the call directly to voicemail. You can also send an active call to voicemail. Do Not Disturb You can engage Do Not Disturb and send all calls straight to voicemail.
Troubleshooting ■■ My handset doesn’t work •• If your phone cannot register to your Ooma Telo, you might have a first-generation Ooma Telo Handset and your Telo is running in a mode that does not support the new Ooma HD3 Handset. Dial * # * # 3 0 2 from a phone connected directly to the Telo, wait for your Telo to reboot and then try again. ■■ •• Verify that your Ooma Telo is powered on and working properly. The Ooma logo should be lit blue.

ÉTAPE 2 Charger le combiné Branchez l’adaptateur CA dans une prise avant de brancher le fil de l’adaptateur CA dans le socle de charge. Placez le combiné sur le socle. Options du menu principal Les options suivantes sont disponibles à partir du menu principal: Utiliser les touches programmables Il y a deux touches programmables contextuelles sous l’écran d’affichage. Ces touches vous permettent d’accéder rapidement aux fonctions les plus utilisées. Le combiné mettra à jour l’étiquette au-dessus de ces touches à mesure que vous utilisez le téléphone. Appuyez sur la touche appropriée pour activer la fonction qui y est assignée.
Fonctionnement de base Faire et recevoir des appels Afficheur de photo Il y a deux façons de faire un appel. Mettre le microphone en sourdine Appels internationaux Pendant que vous parlez à quelqu’un au téléphone, vous pouvez mettre le microphone en sourdine en appuyant sur la touche programmable Mute. Appuyez sur la touche programmable Unmute pour réactiver le microphone. Pour faire un appel international, composez 0 1 1 suivi de l’indicatif du pays et du numéro de téléphone.
Pour consulter la liste de vos contacts à partir de l’écran principal, choisissez Phonebook à partir du menu principal ou appuyez longuement sur la touche du haut-parleur. Faites défiler la liste à l’aide du pavé de navigation, puis appuyez sur Select pour consulter les numéros de téléphone associés à un contact. Choisissez-en un, puis appuyez sur pour le composer.
Services Premier Prenez ensuite le combiné qui vous servira de haut-parleur. Choisissez Intercom à partir du menu principal. Choisissez le combiné que vous souhaitez surveiller, puis appuyer sur la touche programmable Monitor. Favoris Établissez une liste des personnes que vous appelez le plus souvent afin d’accéder à leur numéro en toute facilité.
Messagerie vocale améliorée Appel en attente amélioré Transfert vers la messagerie vocale Si la ligne est déjà occupée lorsque vous recevez un deuxième appel entrant, tout combiné Ooma qui n’est pas utilisé sonnera. Dépannage ■■ Mon combiné ne fonctionne pas •• Si vous n’arrivez pas à enregistrer votre combiné sur votre système Ooma Telo, il est possible que vous ayez un combiné Ooma Telo de première génération et que votre Telo fonctionne dans un mode qui ne reconnaît pas le nouveau combiné Ooma HD3. Composez le * # * # 3 0 2 à partir d’un téléphone qui est branché directement au système Telo, attendez que votre Telo redémarre, puis essayez de nouveau.
