Troubleshooting (continued)
After connecting the OontZ Bluetooth Adapter to my audio source, there is no audio
playing from my OontZ Speaker. Please check the following:
Your audio source is connected to the adapter via the 3.5mm Audio Cable or Digital
Audio Optical Cable.
– Make sure the audio volume is at an audible level on both your speakers and audio
source.
– Please make sure the settings for your audio source are enabled for the line-out/head-
phone out or the Digital Audio out (depending on the cable you have connected to the
OontZ Bluetooth Adapter).
– Some TVs require selecting the audio output setting to an external speaker in your
TV on-screen menus. The selection for the audio output setting can usually be
found in the TV on-screen menu under audio settings. Please refer to your TV
manual for more specific instructions.
I hear a buzzing sound when connected to my TV.
– When using the Digital Audio Optical Cable connected to the OontZ Bluetooth Adapter
make sure the audio format setting for your TV is enabled for PCM out and not
encoded audio such as Dolby Digital.
– The selection to change the audio format on your TV can usually be found in the TV
on-screen menu under audio settings. Please refer to your TV manual for more specific
instructions.
