 Active mode. Meaning, currently you or the Assistant is saying something.
 Inactive mode or idle. Meaning, no one is saying something.
Google Assistant Settings:
Launch Google Assistant from the Control Center or from long pressing
the Home button. Click on the top
right corner of the screen and click Settings. You can also ask the Assistant to give it
to you. Now you can personalize and customize your Assistant. These are the
settings:
Account
 Gmail Address it will show your activities with Google Assistant to any Android
to sign in.
 Personal info contains home & work locations for a better route when
commuting, nickname that you prefer your assistant to call you, and an option to
enable email updates to receive latest news and features to your Assistant.
 Preference contains weather temperature units, change the default voice of the
Assistant with other 8 selections, getting around which asks how you usually
commute, and Summer time mode.
