Reset your phone
Go to "Settings - System settings - Reset phone".
You can select from the following options to reset your phone:
Only reset system settings: Only settings will be reset. Your data, including photos, music
and other personal files, will be retained.
Clear downloaded apps and app data: Only your photos, music and other personal files will
be retained.
Clear all data: All data, including photos, music and other personal files, will be cleared.
Clear contacts and call logs on the phone: The contacts stored on your SIM card will be
retained.
Clear SMS and MMS messages: The SMS messages stored on your SIM card will be
retained.
Restore data
Restore from local storage
Go to "Settings - System settings - Back up & migrate - Local backup".
Select a backup and select the data you need to restore, then tap "Restore".
Restore from cloud backup
Go to "Settings - System settings - Back up & migrate - HeyTap Cloud".
Select a backup and select the data you need to restore, then tap "Restore".
HeyTap Cloud
HeyTap Cloud allows you to store your photos, contacts, SMS, notes and other data safely on
the cloud. If your phone is lost or damaged, HeyTap Cloud can help you locate your phone
and remotely delete your data to protect your privacy.
Turn on HeyTap Cloud
Go to Settings and tap "Sign in" at the top of the Settings list.
Enter your username and password to turn on HeyTap Cloud. After that, your data will be
automatically backed up and synchronized.
Optimize storage
When HeyTap Cloud is turned on, your original photos will be stored on the HeyTap Cloud,
and the photos on your phone will be replaced by clear but smaller ones in order to save
storage.
Go to "Settings - HeyTap Cloud - Photos", and turn on "Optimize storage".
Manage cloud storage
HeyTap Cloud provides 5 GB of free cloud storage for each user. If you need more cloud
storage, you can purchase one of our upgrade plans.
