1.3 EN6080 Area Control Gateway Initial Setup and
Connection
1.3.1 Configure Network Settings (for Windows 7)
The EN6080 area control gateway comes from the factory configured with a
static IP address of 192.168.60.80. To initially communicate with the EN6080
area control gateway, you will need to connect to a computer's Ethernet port.
This might mean disconnecting from your LAN.
To connect to the EN6080 area control gateway, you will first need to configure
the network settings on your computer.
Note: This procedure will change your network settings. Make a note of your current
network configuration, so you can return to it when finished interfacing with the
EN6080 area control gateway.
Note: Inovonics recommends obtaining a USB-to-Ethernet adapter specifically for the
EN6080 area control gateway to avoid having to modify your standard network
configuration.
