Numbers, Special Characters, and Symbols – These are
found by tapping on

Status Indicators
Status indicators are found in the lower right corner of your
screen and give you an overview of the status of your device.
Battery Indicator – – Tells
you how much battery power is available. When it is
connected to a power source, the battery indicator will
display a charging symbol so you know it is receiving power.
3G Connection Indicator – – Shows whether the 3G
connection is active or disabled.
Airplane Mode Indicator – – Appears when airplane
mode is turned on. Tap once on the indicator to turn airplane
mode off. You can also control the airplane mode in settings.
Download Indicator – – Tapping on
the idle icon will connect the device and begin downloading
items. Icon appears active when the device is busy
downloading items using the 3G connection. Tapping on this
active icon will open a download overview screen indicating
the status of the current download. Minimize this screen by
tapping on the
