Chapter 7 – Connecting to a Computer
The device requires no additional software or programs to
transfer your personal documents. You will need only a
computer with a USB port and the USB cable included with
your device. The following operating systems recognize the
device:
 Windows XP or higher
 Mac OS X
 Linux (most versions)
Connecting
Connecting to a computer allows you to transfer material
from computer to the device. The device cannot be used for
reading or downloading items when connected to a
computer.
WARNING
CAUTION To comply with FCC RF exposure requirements the Digital Reader must be secured to
the cover that is supplied in the box during normal operations as shown in figure 1.0 on page 3.
