OPI-4002
Main batteries used for OPI-4002
As of the factory shipment, OPI-4002 is set to energy-saving mode. It will recover for the scanning
operation by pressing and holding down the trigger switch for a while. OPI-4002 will not start up when the
main batteries are discharged. Please use dedicated AC adapter to charge OPI-4002 before starting
actual operation. Users can also use the cradle (optional) to charge batteries of OPI-4002.
Scanner LED indicator
State Color Indication
Good Read Green A bar code was successfully decoded.
Transmission error Red Blinking when a data transmission error to Wireless USB Adaptor.
Charge Red During charging on the cradle.
Full charged Green Changing color from green to red when the battery is full charged.
Battery Voltage
Drop
Red Blinking when pressing the trigger key and charging is needed.
Cannot read any bar codes.

Wireless USB Adaptor OPA-1001:
Wireless USB Adaptor OPA-1001 is a receiver for the scanner OPI-4002. Use it with connecting to the host computer USB
port. OPA-1001 supports USB1.1.
Wireless USB Adaptor LED indicator
Color Indication
Orange During initialization until the process between host computer and
USB is completed.
Green
Blinking waiting for data reception.
Solid state lighting when data is receive.
Hand strap:
Use the hand strap to avoid drop when carrying or using the scanner.
Fix the strap around the pillars of the scanner.
