* Aiming is a guide to support the scanning operation. Note that an aiming pattern does not indicate exact sannable
width nor distance between a scanner and a bar code.
Aiming Guideline
・ To scan a bar code within a width of aiming range, make sure that two central LED light patterns overlap together.
Then locate the center of the overlapped LED light pattern on the center of the bar code.
・ To scan a bar code wider than a width of aiming range, aim the bar code from farther point. Make sure that the bar
code is in between two LED light patterns at right and left ends.

Due to specular reflections, scanning performance may differ depending on the material of the media on which
the target bar code is printed. Please incline the scanner at about 15 degrees when you have difficulties in
scanning bar codes due to specular reflections.
