1) Download Chrome
2) Add openlrs configurator to chrome (Search for openlrs configurator in chrome)
3) Connect TX to USB Serial adapter
IMPORTANT: Must be set to 3.3 volts, NOT 5 volts!!
I used this one from ebay:

You can see the pin labels if you look really close. But, here they are
from top to bottom:
DTR
RX
TX
VC (+ voltage)
CTS (unused for this)
GND (ground)
ANTENNA MUST BE CONNECTED!!!!!!!
Connect this to the TX Via the 6 pins by the antenna (Left side
in pic). I used male-male servo connectors.
IMPORTANT: I could only get the connection to work by
connecting the USB rx to the TX TX pin. And the USB TX
pin to the TX RX pin.

TX to RX
RX to TX

4) Connect USB to computer USB port. Both Windows 7 and XP worked for me.
The system should automatically install the drivers. If not, get them from here:

Installation instructions for driver:

5) Open Chrome configurator (under chrome apps)
6) Click on Firmware Flasher
You will not have success using connect button until tx is flashed.
