TELEPHONE CONTROL
• The chronothermostat can be operated via a telephone combiner voltage-free contact,
with a resistance of < 100
).
• There are two operating modes:
°
open contact; normal operation;
°
closed contact; the zones enter the OFF state until the successive opening of the
contact, entering the state existing prior to closing the contact.
• When the symbol
is displayed on the main page, it means that the telephone
contact is closed (OFF state).
NETWORK CONFIGURATION
• By default, the Athena chronothermostat is only confi gured for zone 1, confi guring
the internal sensor as sensor and the unit relay as actuator.
• The network has to be confi gured to use the remote wireless actuators or over the
bus, or remote sensors over the bus.
• To accomplish this, the remote sensor and/or remote actuator is selected for the
desired zone from the “Confi guration of each adjustment zone” menu, then prior to
pressing the [OK] key, to start up the confi guration procedure, the remote sensor and/
or actuator is confi gured (see the associated instructions).
• After pressing the [OK] key the unit will use the “OK” message to indicate that the
zone confi guration has been correctly confi gured.
ERROR MESSAGES
• Poor operating conditions may occur during normal operation that prevent normal
operation.
• For example, if an internal, external or remote sensor develops a fault, the temperature
fi eld of the corresponding sensor will display [--.-], disable the adjustment for this
zone and force the associated actuator to go to the OFF state.
• If any bus peripheral communications errors occur, the following message will be
displayed onscreen: “PERIPHERAL ERRORS ON BUS Z …”.
• The zones will have to be tested in order to identify the problem (see the note in the
confi guration menu for each of the adjustment zones).
