Operation ● Your Air Purifier works best if you leave it in operation continuously, and it provides multiple settings for convenient use at any time. 1. MAIN POWER SWITCH: Turn the unit on by sliding the power switch to the fan speed you prefer (fig. 2): ( • • • ) for maximum cleaning ( • • ) for medium cleaning ( • ) for low cleaning Each setting uses a different fan speed, changing the air flow through the Collector Cell.
Replacing Cell After Cleaning 5 1. Snap in the Charcoal Odor Absorber (fig. 5). 2. Slide in the Pre-Filter (fig. 6). 3. Slide Collector Cell into cabinet, using handles (fig. 4). 4. Replace front grill. Unit is now ready for operation (fig. 3). NOTE: An occasional snapping or popping sound (“arcing”) is normal when operating the unit immediately after cleaning the Collector Cell and should stop after a few minutes of operation.
Troubleshooting Guide Service problems that appear to be major can often be solved easily. You can be your own troubleshooter by reviewing the chart below. It pinpoints problems and how to correct them. Remember, check the simple things first. PROBLEM CHECK UNIT DOES NOT TURN 1. Power Cord ON 2. Selector Switch 3. Front Grill WHAT TO DO 1. Plug in power cord 2. Set selector switch for desired fan speed. 3. Reinsert front grill until it is flush with cabinet front.
