To tune a channel:
1. In the "Radio" mode, press the / OFF button to set the screen
in the "Tune" mode. (If the screen says "Preset" then you will
need to press the key twice).
2. Then use the button to move up or down. (The FM band number
will increase or decrease as you move the key. Simply tune until
you find a clear channel you want to listen to).
NOTE: FM scanning reception may vary in different areas.
To exit the Radio mode:
Simply press the
or MENU / ON button. (You will return to the Main
Menu).
The display in the Radio mode, you will see:
1. Button hold indicator
2. Battery status indicator
3. Frequency display (e.g. 102.35MHz)
4. Information display
RECORD MODE
Prior to initiating Voice Recording, the user must verify the record option
in the Settings Menu.
To verify the record settings:
1. From the Main Menu, select the "Settings" Menu option.
2. Using the
button, scroll down until you highlight the "Record
Settings" sub-menu option. Press the
or MENU / ON button
to display this menu.
3. For the "Source" option, press the
or MENU / ON button to
switch between the various recording sources. (The default
setting is "Microphone," which is used for voice recording. Another
option is "FM" for recording from the FM radio).
4. After selecting "Microphone" as the source, use the
to scroll
down to the data rate. (The recommended data rate for voice
recording is 8000HZ, as this creates acceptable quality and
small files sizes).
