POWER SAVINGS
The Power Savings sub-menu option provides a range of times that
the player will remain inactive before turning itself off to conserve power.
You can choose to disable the power-saving feature or select 1 min,
2 mins, 5 mins or 10 mins.
The player is considered to be active if any of the following occur:
A command has been entered.
File playback is taking place.
FM Radio is being played.
Recording (Voice) is taking place.
To set the power saving feature:
1. On the Main Menu, use the
key to scroll down to select "Settings."
2. Press the
or MENU / ON button.
3. On the "Settings" Menu, use the
key to scroll down to select
"Power savings."
NOTE: Remember to scroll past Auto Dimmer or Equalizer as the
Power savings cannot be seen on the first page of the screen.
4. Once "Power savings" has been highlighted, press the
or
MENU / ON button.
5. Move the
key up (or down) to select "Disable", "1 min",
"2 mins", "5 mins" or "10 mins".
6. When the desired setting has been reached, press the
or
MENU / ON button to return to the "Settings" Menu, or press
and hold the
or MENU / ON button to return to the Main Menu.
RECORD SETTINGS
The Record Settings sub-menu is used to:
Determine the source of a recording.
The type of encoding (default encoding is ADPCM).
The data rate for encoding.
